They tell you that your rights have been taken away by them because they have to. They try to leave you with nothing. It's not enough that your rights are all you have left.

Sounds like they could understand your situation and give you helpful support Terry.... if you manage to link up with the right AoD representative.
"To deliver highly professional accessible activities which promote independent living"1) Nobody talks like that. I certainly don't. If somebody DID talk like that I'd expect them to have the piss taken out of them.2) "to give disabled people the knowledge and confidence about their rights enabling them to access opportunity, make choices and live independently." Jargon, jargon, jargon. What would we do without it? Enjoy life much better.
You can't beat a nice bowl of "Jargon". It's my favourite breakfast cereal.
Whoa, this is like de ja vu from the 90's when organizations start doing mission statements that sound like they are going to do something, but it's really just a bunch of gobbly-gook.
Coronation Street is my favourite serial.
Jargon aside (and it has the nourishment of cardboard) I hope you can find support and assistance.
i hope I get some assistance from somewhere.
I hope you do get some assistance from somewhere! It should be easily accessible to anyone who needs it.
