ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in xo
Thanks for letting me use the questions even though I didn't ask if I could use them. I like reading the answers to them, but change my mind a lot.
DeleteI lived in San Francisco for a year some years ago and have visited many times. It's one of those places (like Florida) that all people think it would be a great place to live until you actually live there. Then you find out it sucks! I too liked that Mandy got the most attention.
ReplyDeleteWell, there's nowhere in England with quite the same appeal. I suppose who you live with is important.
DeleteI do love butterscotch angel delight and I haven't had it for years! I didn't realise you had a wife! I may play along!
ReplyDeleteHaving a wife makes all the difference when you're disabled.
DeleteI enjoy reading people's replies to questionnaires such as this but I wouldn't fill one in. I like that you included your wife in some of the answers.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading Kylie's answers.
DeleteFun answers and like the others I love that Mandy was the answer to so many of the questions.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't do it all the time. 😼 👣
DeleteHAHA! Got a good laugh with answers including your wife. That's sweet. And this was all fun to read.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you liked it. 👍
ReplyDeleteOkay, now I've borrowed the questions! My children used to love butterscotch angel delight. Okay, so did I.
ReplyDeleteOkay, if you borrow the questions that means I don't get them back until next year and you'll make me feel grateful to have them back. when I do get them they won't freaking work and will need looking at.
DeleteFun answers, especially #20 :)
ReplyDeleteIn Canada we are told we don't have any accent, that our speech is flat and uninteresting. And we Canadians all love a British accent. Weird, huh? I'd definitely talk to you if I could :)
I'd love to know what a British accent actually sounds like. You've got Irish, Scottish, Welsh and English to choose from. Having said that, I can't tell one part of Canada from another.
DeleteIrish, Scottish, Welsh, English -- they're all good, and even I can tell the difference among them. Probably shouldn't have used the term British, then, eh? And we do have distinctive accents in Newfoundland and the Cape Breton Island part of Nova Scotia, but not really anywhere else, to my knowledge. Unless you count the French in Quebec, but that's not an accent but a language difference :)
DeleteDon't feel bad about it. You're Canadian and bound to make mistakes. It happens all the time. I shouldn't be so pedantic with foreigners. It's not your fault and don't think that I'm bothered 'cos I'm not.
DeleteNo, I only thought you were helping educate me! I never could remember whether I should say British or English. I assume English is correct? So what is British used for?
DeleteThe term 'British' is reserved for Americans to describe us. They don't understand (or care) what nationality you are. They just know you're not one of them and it's best not to confuse them..
DeleteThe government can be described as British because they represent all of us.
The Beatles, however, were an English pop group because they came from England but most Americans (and us) like to think of Ringo Starr as one of them. He sounds like they do, anyway.
Ahh, okay. Thanks for that :)
DeleteI love your answers Terry! :) Why San Francisco, just curious? I think as long as I can get away from the prejudicial Quebecers, I'm happy to stay put in Canada! Last thing I hate was chocolate, just a minute ago as I type this with sticky fingers lol! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Rain :-) well,San Francisco is in California and on the coast, so that can't be bad. I'm not really in the position to travel far, as you know. We all have our dreams though. It would certainly beat England.
DeleteI had to look up what butterscotch angel delight is. I've never had it.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely. It should be available on the NHS it's that 👍 nice.
DeleteA lot of football players are dumb fellows. No wonder you asked them dumb questions.
ReplyDeleteA lot ol footballers think it will be 79 million years before Hull City will win the English title. They're not as dumb as they look.
ReplyDeleteWe don't want to win The Premiership! One of Hull City's favourite chants is:-
Delete"Silverware? We don't care! We'll follow The City everywhere!"
First , I bet Mandy is appreciative to have her name in lights. (lol) Very cool way to get to know a person! Hugs...RO
ReplyDeleteGoing out with somebody for 27 years is a better way of getting to know someone. 🎃
DeleteI was in San Francisco a couple of years ago and I didn't like it at all. I couldn't believe the number of homeless people and disturbed individuals wandering the streets. Nobody seemed to care about them, people just walked by them as if they didn't exist. It seemed like a really uncaring, self-centred city.
ReplyDeleteIf I could move somewhere else, it would be Sydney or Vancouver. Beautiful cities with a lovely feel to them.
San Francisco doesn't seem that popular.
