Hmm...i never really cared about what anyone else would think. I just took the picture.
The midbeats’ Jake eating some cold pizza. He’s in discussion with the director of the video. I used a special programme to give it this look.
A great-looking girl at a wedding bash.
Hinckley United’s Andre Gray in FA Cup action. He now plays professionally for Watford.
My niece getting ready for her sister’s wedding.
Jimmy and Stacey celebrate their wedding with a dance.
Leon and Helen get their son to be the best man. Here he is giving away the ring.
Stacey having her hair done before her wedding to Jimmy.
i used that programme to create a picturesque view of Shenton which is a place in Leicestershire.
What beautiful photography Terry! You've got talent! I love the first photo. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Rain. I did enough football matches and weddings to last a lifetime.
DeleteYour talent shines through! Love the photos
ReplyDeleteGetting a good camera is half the battle. Practise makes perfect. Always have a camera ready. A good camera makes all the difference.
DeleteSuch beautiful, emotion filled photos. All of them.
ReplyDeleteThanks EC. I tried to make each photo a stand-out picture as most of them were part of a wedding album.
DeleteThese are wonderful shots. Each one tells a story. I'm really liking the black and white.
ReplyDeleteHi Jenny, black and white always looked special compared to colour. It just depended on the photograph.
DeleteI love your photography! There is so much feeling in each image. And that last one with all the pretty shades of nature...I wan to walk that path!
ReplyDeleteHi Martha, I walked that path many times. You wouldn’t have wanted to walk it on the day I took the photograph. It was a terrible day.
DeleteThese are captivating Jimmy, and your talent is so amazing! Hugs...RO
ReplyDeleteThanks, RO. I wouldn’t really call it a talent. It was having the right equipment and knowing how to use it.
DeleteEach photo, precious artwork.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this series, Tree.
Take good care.
Thanks Robyn. Now i’ve got your website address....
DeleteYour photos are really beautiful and capture some great moments of the people in your life. I especially like the scenery one and it looks like it belongs in a fairy tale book.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Julia
That was a great thing to say Julia. The picture of the scenery one was nice because of the programme I used. It was far from being like how it appears. Thanks again.
DeleteNo need to worry what anyone thinks when you are probably the most talented at your craft!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kylie, I didn’t think so much of them but I thought they were ok. I was really into my photography back then. You could call it obsessive, I suppose. It helped with my depression to be able to focus on something so creative as that. I had so many magazines about it. I say ‘obsession’ as a criticism. It did me no good at all and it was like an alcoholic needs to drink. Having the stroke has helped me overcome the constant need to photograph everything. It got to the stage where I was at my mum’s flat taking pictures of a bowl of fruit. I thought what the Funk!
DeleteThanks so much for your comment and interest on my blog Terry. I just wish I had more time to devote to hooking rugs. My husband sometimes introduces me to people and says, "This is my wife Julia and she's a hooker." lol then he proceeds to explain that I'm a rug hooker.
ReplyDeleteIt took my husband's friend 2 hours to cut, drill and put together the wool worm holder and he usually charges $25. 00 Canadian dollars per hours.
Hugs, Julia
lol @ hooker. you’re very talented at what you do. I’m well impressed at what this is. I couldn’t do it. You’ve either got it or you haven’t and you have!
DeleteWow! Wow! Wow! And double "Wow!" Absolutely stunning photographs. The work of a genius with a very keen eye. Thanks for sharing, Terry. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Lee but I just hold the button down and the auto drive gives me 10 photos to look at. Anyone can do it. The dslr i is the star of the show!
